A glittering professional's career can conceal many of the most tragic stories. Lolo Jones, who was the winner of the USA and World championships in hurdle events in 2013, only been able to achieve this level by putting in a lot of hard work and a lot of patience. Jones was born into a family of no mothers and had five children living suffering from poverty and hardships when she was a kid, endured an incredibly difficult childhood. Jones' mother moved constantly and stayed for a while in the church basement. Jones her nomadic life forced her to change school every year up to the age of high school. In Theodore Roosevelt High School, Jones resided apart from her mother in order to pursue her interests in the track and field events. Jones lived with 4 distinct families, which helped ensure that she was studying at a high level. Jones was also a cellist in the orchestra of her school. At school, she won the Gatorade Athlete of the Year Award from Iowa Track and Field. Jones was one of the college's best hurdlers after entering. In the 2002 NCAA Track & Field Championship, she won in the 100m hurdles. Jones also was a part of the team that finished second in the 100-meter Relay event. Jones is a champion of indoor hurdles at NCAA Championships both in 2003 and 2004. Jones is training since 2005 when she finished her studies. That same year she won her first Torino Memorial Event, while in 2026, she was the winner of the Ostrava Track competition and Heusden.

Brandt relocated out of Cape Town South Africa to Auckland New Zealand at the close of her teen years. Brandt was noticed by casting directors from her native town, and she was offered the role as Naevia for the Starz hit Spartacus Blood and Sand and Spartacus Gods of the Arena. Produced by Steven S.
