Meredith Salenger
Salenger has been raised and lived in Malibu. Salenger was a performer in the presence of her close family members and friends in her early years. She was 8 years old when her mother registered her in her first acting course. The first part she played was in a minor role as a 'singing and dancing orphan for the feature film Annie directed by John Huston. Salenger is also part of the commercials of a couple of television networks. Salenger was the first actress to play the lead part on screen in The Journey of Natty Gann, which was a Disney movie that starred John Cusack with Ray Wise. It was the very first US film to win the Gold Award at the Moscow Film Festival. It also won her "Best actress in a Drama" in the Youth in Film Awards for her portrayal as the charming Natty Gann. In her early 20s, she appeared in four more movies, including A Night in the Life of Jimmy Reardon. Then she made the move to Harvard in order to pursue her education.
